This letter to one of the early churches addresses a topic that’s timely for our day: our disposition, attitude and responses toward God when we’re publicly chided, censured, rebuked, vilified, and sent reeling from our families, friends, workplaces, and local communities on account of our Christian faith.
Helping believers hold fast their confidence in Christ during times they’re otherwise tempted to walk away is central to the message of this book – providing the vital mindset and understanding that builds up (rather than tears down) Christian faith.
